Intro to Birding
San Domingo Ranch is the perfect place to begin your birding adventure. Our Introduction to Birding workshop is a low pressure, high results day that will introduce anyone, young or old, to the pleasures of birding.
Our relaxed approach will take you along fascinating trails to feeding stations, watering holes and blinds to guarantee you good views of many of the Ranch birds. You'll learn about birds and birding techniques from an experienced guest lecturer and birding guide. A mid-day question and answer session will help you solidify your new knowledge.
The Ranch will supply binoculars if you lack a suitable pair. We'll also
provide two-way radios for use in the field as well as plenty of water. You'll
enjoy our beautiful gardens as you eat y
our lunch prior to the
Q&A session.
