The San Domingo Ranch is a unique property to consider using as your location shoot or as a base when filming in the surrounding area. Our dramatic quality of light and versatility of terrain ranges from South Texas native brush, to  beautiful creeks, with trails lined by trees.

The ranch headquarters are situated in a luxurious and cultivated, lush green oasis in the midst of a slightly rolling plain.  Spring is our best time from starting February onwards. Summers provide long stretches of clear skies, dappled shade and full sunlight, marked by a warm inviting atmosphere. Then there are the tropical breezes that accompany big starry night skies. Indescribable. Along with the the native Live Oak Trees, some over hundreds of years old, and amidst the brush, wander the cattle throughout the cinderos. Spanish goats herded by black and white Border Collies, and Anatolian Shepards, share the pastures with Javelinas, and Wild Turkeys, along wildflower studded pathways created by horses foraging for sweet  grasses. You will be surrounded by complete privacy and many of the areas unique critters and birds.

We'll work with your production company and PAs to make your experience productive and enjoyable. We can provide world-class cuisine and have experience catering for large groups. We are happy to send out for any special items needed by our most particular clients; vegetarian and organic healthier fare, zone, low carb, and other special diets can all be easily accommodated.

Much of the Ranch is accessible to semis and other large equipment rigs. Electrical power for portable generators is available at select locations in the Ranch's back-country; contact us for information regarding generator and other equipment rentals available in the area, or for detailed questions concerning Ranch trails, conditions, and other local knowledge.
